the tablet is inconsequential. what matters more in the skill of the artist using the tablet to create wonderful images.

This is very helpful and fascinating to watch, especially seeing how you add details layer by layer and work on the entire image.

Oh that's interesting how you draw nearly all the way on the same layer =D
I'm so scared to do that, I could screw something up and mess up the whole painting xD
Really nice videos =D

nice videos, why dont you change the brush size with the scroller?? its easier to set up the wacom with [ and ], than doing tons of times the right click, its even scroll better then painter.

Jumei Featured By Owner Sep 4, 2010  Professional Digital Artist
its even scroll better then painter.

In Painter you can scroll while using [ and ] or by holding alt+command and scroll with your mouse wheel or the touch pad on your Wacom. In Photoshop you can also use [ and ] (of which goes the resizing at exactly the same speed as in Painter) or while holding control+alt, holding the left mouse click and drag. The dragging in Photoshop and Painter also change the brush size at exactly the same rate and speed with me. So I don't understand what you mean with Photoshop scrolling better than Painter :?

Other than that, you are totally right. No matter what shortkey you use, they are WAY better than using the right click all the time. It saves so much time :)

Wirklich klasse. Danke. Darf ich fragen welchen Pinsel du benutz bzw., welchen Modus?
Reply
:iconjanaschi:
janaschi Featured By Owner Sep 19, 2008

thank you so much for making this. I paint digitally and so many people who paint only traditionally think of digital painting as easy. Your tutorial shows how much work goes into a piece sometimes.
