This picture should show my friend Katrin I drew a while ago. :3
The sketch was compleatly done with pencil during a life-drawing-session at her home. A few days after this session I decided to color the sketch but I had to improvise the light setting.

Yay, lifedrawing with friends for free is totally great and I'm sure some guys here envy me for such a friend, tehehe.

Beautiful sketch! My only suggestion is that you could anchor her feet by making the backdrop behind them darker instead of having them float like they are now.

My friends don't let me draw them unless they take me seriously as an artist. It seems having some skill is a prerequisite for life drawing (at least in my case).

The shape of the canvas and the colors remind me of this famous painting I saw once entitled "Christ in his Tomb." Maybe that's why I find this painting so morbid. Good work though, I'm jealous of your friend for being drawn so well.
