Those tutorials always make it look super easy, my process is a total mess, lots of layers, lots of moving the composition, re-do things, repaint... I'm jealous on how neat you are ò_ó

Hello! I am trying to do "shadows on multiply" and I'm a bit confused. Is it a multiply layer, or multiply brush? And do you use the same colour that is blocked in already?

Sorry I'm such a noob :<

i think she used a multiply layer and afterwards used two color balance effects masked to the shadow and  light layer and messing around till you get the colors you like. Even if she didnt do it like that this should work, hope this helps :) (Smile)

Thank you for sharing this. I love the color extremes in frames 3 and 4, even though the end result is fantastic.

Awesome.
Um, sorry if this is something obvious, but how do you do the temperature change on multiply? Do you adjust the color of the multiple layer from grayish to a warmer one?

I basically just changed the color of the shadow layer and then used the negative space as a mask to change the color in the light too. If that makes sense? *_*

with the temp change is it a separate overlay layer or was it the color balance?

thanks! I had the shadow layer seperately, so I changed the color of it. I also changed the light parts by masking it out :)
